Every Sunday morning, except the first Sunday of each month, we have a youth service just for our Junior High students, grades 6 through 8. We meet during the Sunday morning worship time at 10 am in the Underground. Our service is filled with interactive games, worship, God's word, and samll group discussion to help make God's word come alive. A light breakfast is available before the service.

Every Sunday evening at 7 pm, we have a youth service just for our high school students, grades 9 through 12. We meet in the Ground Floor, our youth chapel here at Harbor Light. This service has a relaxed setting with a time of worship and thought provoking discussion on issues that are relevant to the life of a high school student.

Every Wednesday night we have a youth service for 7 through 12 grade students in the Ground Floor (Harbor Light Youth Chapel). We have a full cafe in our "Underground" activity center where students can hang out and grab a bite to eat with friends. Our service starts at 6:30 pm and runs to 8 pm. We have a time of worship and exploring God's word, as well as, different activities to keep things interactive. Students are welcome to come and hang out in the Underground before and after services.

We are committed to drawing in college-age men and women to equip them and send them out to influence the world for Christ. We pursue this goal through the following values:

 

   1. Worship/Prayer: Centering all aspects of our lives on God.

   2. Word of God: Learning from God’s word as we grow and develop in Him.

   3. Community/Fellowship: Forming meaningful relationships with others.

   4. Service: Responding to God through evangelism and service.

 

The College Ministry welcomes all college-aged men and women. You may be attending college in the area, home for the holidays, or exploring career options. Wherever you are in life, we’re here to join you in pursuing the Life—Jesus Christ.

 

This class is designed for ages 18-30, are not married and have no children.

Maybe you think you're too old to work with teenagers. Maybe you're scared. Maybe you think you're not qualified or trained. Maybe you've just never thought about it. Whatever the reason, I would like to encourage you to consider and pray about working with our youth ministry. We have lots of ways you can be involved and help make an impact in the lives of young people for eternity. Whether you can help every week at one of our weekly services or whether you can help once a month, we have opportunities for you. As a volunteer, we will help to equip you and train you in whatever area you choose to serve.
