About Alan Beyer

Hi, my name is Alan Beyer. My family and I have been members of Harbor Light for around 16 years. I have two sons, Cody and Andrew. Cody has been working at Precision Edge in Boyne City for about six years, while Andrew is working for Skop Powder Coating in Petoskey. Around six years ago, my wife and I moved to Drummond Island following a calling to start a Christian retreat center. At the five-year mark, a big life-changing event took place for us, which brought me back to my home church. A year after being back in my home community, the job of Facility Director was opening up. I did not apply at first, thinking I was not worthy of the position. However, I was wrong. Ever since I was offered the position, it feels as if it’s the time and place for me to be. I look forward to serving in this new role for as long as God has me here.
