Our Purpose
Our ministry exists to engage children in worship and interactive lessons. Children are important to us, so we want to create an environment where they have a place to BELONG, GROW, SERVE and learn to SHARE Christ with others. KidVenture is the name of our Children’s Ministry at Harbor Light Community Chapel and is led by a team of staff and volunteers whose passion is children and whose vision is to “Connect kids to God and to others!” Our goal is to create a fun, safe and age appropriate environment to nurture your child’s walk with Christ.
What to Expect
Our Sunday morning service is designed with children in mind! Each child is taught in an age-appropriate environment that consists of Bible lessons, crafts and worship. Our leaders and volunteers have been screened and background checked in order to work with your child. From the loving care they receive in the nursery to our awesome Summit ministry, your child will be cared for and taught God’s Word in a safe, loving and encouraging environment.
Our Classes
KidVenture is designed for children ages 0yrs-4th grade. Each class is designed with children in mind! They are our top priority. We offer a variety of classes.
Pathfinders: Nursery (0-1yrs)
We understand that this is the hardest age to allow someone else to care for your child. Rest assured, we do not take this responsibility lightly. We ensure a safe environment so you can have peace of mind while you attend our service.
Explorers (2-3yrs)
These little tikes have energy to spare; this is why we keep them engaged and moving as much as possible. Our lessons are geared for their attention span. Toys, crafts, Bible stories and games allow them to explore and create while learning in a fun environment.
Trailblazers (4-5yrs)
After Explorers, your child moves to the Trailblazers where the Bible time includes discussion and fun critical thinking activities. We have prayer time, lessons and activities that will provoke questions and discussion.
The Summit (6yrs-4th Grade)
During the final stage of children’s ministry we will continue to challenge them with discussion through Bible readings and create more age appropriate ways to engage them into the word of God.
